How To Make Fennel & Tomato Gratin

Ingredients
- 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
- 4 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large baking dish, layer the fennel and tomato slices, alternating between the two.

In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the fennel and tomatoes.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
