- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beer
- Vegetable oil, for frying

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Slowly pour in the beer, whisking until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
