How To Make Seared Duck with Ginger Mash

Ingredients
- 4 duck breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
Instructions

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the duck breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside and let them rest.

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat and add grated ginger. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the mashed potatoes to the pan and stir well to combine with the ginger butter mixture. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Slice the rested duck breasts and serve over the ginger mash. Garnish with chopped chives.
