Ingredients

  • 4 duck breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 small slider buns
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Season the duck breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Pour the sauce over the duck breasts and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, basting the duck with the sauce every 5 minutes.

  7. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the duck rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  8. Toast the slider buns until lightly golden.

  9. Place a few slices of duck onto each bun, then top with shredded cabbage, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
