How To Make Hoisin Duck Stir-Fry

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 duck breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add duck slices and cook until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add bell pepper, carrot, snow peas, and green onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

  4. Return the duck slices to the skillet and pour the hoisin sauce mixture over them. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the duck and vegetables.

  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds.

  6. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
