How To Make Sage and Sausage Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cubed bread
  • 1 lb of ground sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped sage
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add onions, celery, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until soft.

  4. Add in the sage and cook for a minute more.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, sausage mixture, and chicken broth. Mix well.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on top.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
