How To Make Sausage and Sage Stuffing Recipe

Classic stuffing with sausage and sage, perfect for holiday dinners.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of bread cubes
  • 1/2 pound of Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh sage
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Brown sausage in a pan over medium-high heat, then remove from pan and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, sauté onions and celery until softened.

  4. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked sausage, onion and celery mixture, sage, parsley, broth, and eggs.

  5. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
