  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vegetable oil.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
