Ingredients

  • 2 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled cornbread, dried cranberries, onions, celery, and carrots.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, melted butter, egg, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the cornbread mixture and stir gently to combine.

  5. Spoon the dressing into a greased baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the middle.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
