Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk cornstarch and water until it forms a smooth paste.

  4. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the sauce, whisking constantly until it thickens to desired consistency.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool.

  6. Coat cooked chicken wings with the sauce and serve.
