  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the blueberries have burst and the syrup has thickened slightly.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

  5. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids.

  6. Use a spoon to press down on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible.

  7. Discard the solids and transfer the syrup to a jar or bottle.

  8. Let the syrup cool completely before using or storing in the refrigerator.
