  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the flour and garlic powder to create a roux, stirring continuously for 2 minutes.

  3. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.

  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and add all the cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool slightly before serving.
