Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp whisky
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, mix the sugar and water over medium heat.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil.

Continue cooking without stirring until the mixture turns a deep amber color, about 8-10 minutes.
