How To Make Quick and Easy Refried Beans Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) of pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until they become soft and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the drained and rinsed pinto beans to the skillet. Use a potato masher or fork to mash the beans to your desired consistency.

Stir in the ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth to help moisten the beans and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary.
