How To Make Cauliflower Mash Recipe

A delicious and healthy gluten-free side dish, made with cauliflower instead of potatoes.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, chopped into small florets
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large pot, steam the cauliflower until tender (about 10-15 minutes).

  3. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, heat the olive oil and garlic over medium heat until fragrant.

  4. Add the steamed cauliflower to the pan and mash with a potato masher.

  5. Add the almond milk, butter, salt, and pepper, and continue to mash until desired consistency is reached.

  6. Transfer the mashed cauliflower to a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes, until heated through and slightly crispy on top.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
