  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix together the mashed potatoes, kale, bacon, cheese, salt, and pepper.

  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls.

  4. Dredge balls in flour, then dip in the beaten egg, and coat in breadcrumbs.
