How To Make Easter Lamb Curry Recipe
A delicious and aromatic lamb curry that is perfect for the Easter holiday.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs of lamb shoulder, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of ginger, grated
- 1 tsp of ground cumin
- 1 tsp of ground coriander
- 1 tsp of turmeric
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of garam masala
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup of canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup of beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add onions and sauté until translucent.

Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.

Add in lamb and cook until browned on all sides.

Add in the cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, bay leaf, salt, and pepper and stir together.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth and stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Serve over rice or with naan bread.
