How To Make Christmas Ham Quesadilla with Sweet Pickled Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups of cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of sweet pickled onions (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

  2. Take one flour tortilla and sprinkle a quarter of the diced ham evenly over one side.

  3. Sprinkle a quarter of the shredded cheddar cheese over the ham.

  4. Add a tablespoon of sweet pickled onions on top.

  5. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing gently to seal the edges.

  6. Place the folded tortilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.

  7. Repeat steps 2-6 for the remaining tortillas and ingredients.

  8. Remove the cooked quesadillas from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
