Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.

  3. Add brown sugar and vanilla extract to the melted butter and stir until combined.

  4. Place crushed graham crackers in a mixing bowl and pour the butter mixture over them. Mix well.

  5. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread it evenly.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee.

  8. Let it stand for 5 minutes until the chocolate chips melt.

  9. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee and sprinkle with more graham cracker crumbs.

  10. Allow the toffee to cool completely before breaking them into bite-size pieces.
