How To Make Breakfast Skillet Recipe

A hearty skillet breakfast packed with protein and veggies that will keep you full all morning.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. breakfast sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown breakfast sausage until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, add onion, red and green peppers, and sweet potato. Sauté for 10-12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

  3. Add cooked sausage back to skillet and sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the top.

  4. With a spoon, make four wells in the skillet for the eggs. Crack each egg into each well and cover skillet, cooking until eggs are done to your liking.
