How To Make Breakfast Sausage Skillet Recipe

A delicious and hearty breakfast skillet made with sausage, potatoes, peppers, and eggs.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, add olive oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Once hot, add the crumbled sausage to the pan and cook until browned. Remove and set aside on a plate.

  3. In the same skillet, add the diced potatoes, red and green peppers, and onion. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the empty space. Let the eggs cook undisturbed for a minute, then scramble with a spatula until cooked through.

  5. Return the sausage to the skillet and stir everything together.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
