How To Make Polish Sausage and Sweet Onion Tart Recipe
A savory tart made with flaky pastry, caramelized onions, and juicy Polish sausage.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 Polish sausages, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place in a 9-inch tart pan, pressing into the bottom and sides.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high heat and sauté onions until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.

Arrange sausage slices on top of the pastry, followed by the caramelized onions. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, until pastry is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
