How To Make Potato, Shredded Sprout & Chestnut Gratin

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup cooked chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded potatoes, Brussels sprouts, chestnuts, Gruyere cheese, garlic, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Transfer the potato mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  4. Pour the heavy cream over the top of the potato mixture.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and crispy.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
