Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the Brussels sprouts in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and slightly browned.

  4. While the sprouts are roasting, prepare the bacon-cheese sauce. In a saucepan, cook the minced garlic until fragrant.

  5. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

  6. Stir in the crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper.

  7. Pour the bacon-cheese sauce over the roasted Brussels sprouts.

  8. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and golden brown.

  9. Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
