How To Make Sausage & Mash on a Stick

Ingredients
- 4 sausages
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the sausages according to package instructions until they are fully cooked and browned. Set aside to cool.

Once the sausages have cooled, cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Take a small amount of mashed potatoes and shape it around each piece of sausage, forming them into small balls or cylindrical shapes.

In one bowl, place the beaten eggs. In another bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

Dip each sausage and mashed potato ball into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated, then roll it in the breadcrumbs until evenly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the coated sausage and mashed potato balls until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Place the fried sausage and mashed potato balls on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes to ensure they are heated through.
