How To Make Pork Fillet with Mustard & Herbs

If you didn’t already know, pork tenderloin is one of the leanest cuts of meat that you can possibly find. Despite the lack of fat though, it doesn’t fall behind in terms of texture. Ingredients

  • 4 pork fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the pork fillets with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, chopped rosemary, and chopped thyme.

  4. Brush the mustard mixture over each pork fillet, coating them evenly.

  5. Heat a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat and add some olive oil.

  6. Sear the pork fillets for about 2 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  8. Remove the pork fillets from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  9. Slice the pork fillets and serve with your favorite side dishes.
