How To Make Hoisin and Five-Spice Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Juicy and flavorful pork tenderloin glazed with hoisin sauce and five-spice powder.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce and Chinese five-spice powder.

  3. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.

  4. Heat oil in an oven-safe pan over high heat. When hot, add pork tenderloin and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until brown.

  5. Brush the hoisin and five-spice mixture over the pork tenderloin.

  6. Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
