Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  6. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
