How To Make Mexican Pork Koftas

Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, onion, garlic, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into small oval-shaped koftas.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the koftas in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and nicely browned.

  5. Serve the Mexican pork koftas hot with your favorite sides or in warm tortillas for tacos.
