Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing the edges to fit.

  3. In a skillet, brown the ground pork over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Add the onions, garlic, and thyme and cook until the onions are caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.

  5. Spread the meat mixture out in the prepared pie crust.

  6. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, and pepper, and pour it over the meat mixture.

  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the egg mixture is set and the crust is golden brown.

  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
