How To Make Ham, Egg & Chips

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 cups of potato chips
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.

  3. Fry the potato chips until golden and crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.

  4. In the same pan, fry the ham slices until heated through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  5. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook to your desired doneness (fried or sunny-side-up).

  6. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.

  7. While the eggs cook, place the cooked ham slices and potato chips on a baking sheet and warm in the preheated oven for a few minutes.

  8. Serve the fried eggs on top of the warmed ham slices and alongside the crispy chips.
