Ingredients
- 4 large artichokes
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the stems off the artichokes and remove any tough outer leaves.

Using a sharp knife, cut off the top 1/2 inch of each artichoke.

Spread the minced garlic evenly between the artichoke leaves.

Drizzle olive oil over each artichoke, making sure to get some in between the leaves.

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the artichokes.

Place the artichokes upright in a baking dish, ensuring they are stable.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender and the leaves are lightly browned.
