Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Spread the trimmed asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper evenly.

  4. Toss the asparagus gently to coat them evenly with the seasonings.

  5. Roast the asparagus in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are tender-crisp.

  6. Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the asparagus.

  7. Sprinkle lemon zest on top for an extra burst of flavor.

  8. Serve the seasoned asparagus immediately. Enjoy!
