How To Make Bread Machine Focaccia

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions

In the bread machine pan, combine warm water, olive oil, sugar, and salt.

Add bread flour and yeast to the pan, ensuring the yeast does not come into contact with the liquid ingredients.

Select the dough setting on the bread machine and let it run until the dough is smooth and elastic, about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it down evenly with your fingers.

In a small bowl, mix together dried rosemary, dried thyme, and garlic powder. Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the dough.

Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Remove the towel and sprinkle the dough with coarse sea salt.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the focaccia is golden brown.

Allow the focaccia to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
