Ingredients
- 2 large aubergines, sliced into rounds
- 1 cup of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Brush the aubergine slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Grill the aubergine slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are tender and lightly charred.

In a baking dish, spread a layer of tomato sauce, followed by a layer of grilled aubergine slices.
