How To Make Green Pea and Coconut Curry Recipe
A flavorful vegan curry made with green peas and creamy coconut milk.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- 2 cups green peas, frozen or fresh
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.

Add garlic, ginger, curry powder, and cumin powder to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute.

Stir in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.

Add green peas, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peas are cooked and the sauce has thickened.

Garnish with chopped cilantro leaves and serve with rice or naan bread.
