Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Add chopped red chilli and minced garlic. Sauté for a minute.

  3. Add peas and cumin powder. Stir well to coat the peas with the spices.

  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the peas are tender, stirring occasionally.

  5. Stir in fresh mint leaves and season with salt.

  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  7. Squeeze lemon juice over the peas and mix well.

  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
