Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated carrots, melted butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.

  3. Stir in the milk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the soufflé is set and lightly golden on top.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

  7. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired, before serving.
