How To Make Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers

We have turkey sandwiched between lovely bread, baked as pie filling, and cooked in a casserole. Whatever way it’s served, turkey meat is a versatile dish you just can’t get enough of.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and browned on the outside.

  4. Toast the hamburger buns, if desired.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add desired toppings and cover with the top bun. Serve immediately.
