How To Make Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

Lighter than beef but still packing a ton of flavor, these turkey burgers have crumbled feta for some saltiness and fresh spinach for nutrition.

Ingredients

  • 1cupfresh spinach,chopped
  • 1clovegarlic,minced
  • ½yellow onion,grated
  • 1tspdried oregano
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • ¼tspground black pepper
  • ¼lbfeta crumbles
  • 1lbground turkey
  • 4hamburger buns
  • green leaf lettuce
  • 1tomato,sliced
  • ½cupGreek yogurt
  • ½lemon,juiced
  • ¼tspkosher salt
  • 2pinchground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the spinach, garlic, onion, oregano, salt, pepper, feta and turkey together in a bowl until just combined.

  2. Shape into 4 patties, 1-inch thick.

  3. Heat a heavy skillet or cast iron skillet on pan to medium-high.

  4. Add the patties and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Do not keep flipping them over.

  5. Toast the hamburger buns lightly.

  6. Mix the yogurt, lemon, salt and pepper in a bowl and add to the buns.

  7. Top with lettuce, onion and the turkey patty.
