Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a boil.

  5. Add the broccoli and carrots to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

  6. Return the beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and sauce.

  7. Divide the rice noodles among 4 bowls. Top with the beef and broccoli mixture.

  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
