  • 4 heads of bok choy
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Wash the bok choy thoroughly and cut off the ends. Separate the leaves from the stems.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add the bok choy stems to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

  4. Stir in the chili paste, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Mix well.

  5. Add the bok choy leaves to the pan and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until wilted.

  6. Serve the spicy bok choy in garlic sauce hot as a side dish or over steamed rice.
