Ingredients

  • 500g lamb, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Add the lamb cubes to the spice mixture and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated lamb cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to desired doneness.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and fresh cilantro. Toss well.

  5. Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve the sizzled masala lamb alongside the chopped salad.
