How To Make Prawn & Mushroom Five-Spice Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 400g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Spring onions, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, and cornstarch. Set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Add prawns and mushrooms, cook for 3-4 minutes until prawns turn pink and mushrooms are tender.

Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat the prawns and mushrooms.

Cook for another 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with spring onions.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
