Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the prawns to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.

  5. Return the prawns to the pan and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and salt. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.

  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
