How To Make Beef Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. Return the beef to the skillet and add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the ingredients.

  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through.

  6. Squeeze the lime juice over the beef and vegetables and stir to combine.

  7. Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.

  8. Serve the beef fajitas in the warm tortillas and top with your desired toppings.
