Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

  2. Add the diced onion, sliced carrots, chopped celery, diced potatoes, and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Pour in the beef broth, frozen peas, tomato paste, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Stir well to combine.

  4. Bring the stew to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve the stew hot with crusty bread.
