How To Make Shrimp and Fish Chowder Recipe
A rich and creamy soup packed with shrimp and white fish, perfect for a comforting meal.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb white fish fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

Add potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, until potatoes are soft.

Add shrimp and fish and cook until seafood is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Pour in heavy cream and stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Let simmer for a few more minutes until heated through.

Stir in chopped parsley and serve hot.
