How To Make Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb of sausage links
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a skillet, brown the sausage links on all sides over medium heat. Transfer the sausages to the slow cooker.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.

In a bowl, whisk together the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the sausages and vegetables in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.

Serve the sausages with the sauce over cooked pasta or rice.
