How To Make Slow Cooker Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.

In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture and stir until a sticky dough forms.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

After the dough has risen, lightly flour a clean surface and turn the dough out onto it. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth.

Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker and cook the bread on high for 2 hours, or on low for 4 hours, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Once cooked, carefully remove the bread from the slow cooker and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
